619. Hot Springs Canyon Trail 12/14

This was my second hike to the Sespe Hot Springs in May 2014. I hiked in from Dough Flat, in the Condor Sanctuary. You hike down to Alder Creek, and then over a second ridge to Hot Springs Canyon. This was my longest hike ever, over 14 hours. With 2 long up hill hikes on the way back, first over the ridge out of Hot Springs Canyon, and then up out of Alder Creek. In the end I was stopping every 100 yards, to rest and hyperventilating. I over did it this day, and continued to hyperventilate for the whole ride home, and was so tired, I had no appetite when I got home.
