About a mile below Romero Saddle, there is a locked gate on the right side, there is parking. Through the gate is the trail head. The trail leads back up to the ridge top and then follows the ridge to Divide Peak. I hiked in about 8 miles and saw the biggest bear, I ever saw. The view is Malulce Mountain, with all three peaks showing.
