Buckhorn Road is in Northern Santa Barbara County. You take highway 33 almost to highway 166.
Turn left on Foothills Road, and left again on Santa Barbara Canyon Road. Follow the road as far as it goes, baring to the right, and park at the gate. Hike the road pass the gate up to the ridge top. The road baring off to the right is Buckhorn Road. The view is of two of Madulce three peaks. It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive from Ventura to the Trail Head.
